أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية، وقوع عدد من القتلى والجرحى، إثر انفجار مسجد الإمام الصادق، بمنطقة الصوابر وسط مدينة الكويت، أثناء صلاة الجمعة اليوم.وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان لها اليوم، أن الأجهزة الأمنية تتابع مجريات الحادث لكشف الملابسات المحيطة به، وحصر عدد المصابين والجرحي.إلى ذلك، أشارت مصادر إعلامية إلى أن ضحايا الحادث ارتقع إلى أكثر من 15 قتيلاً ونحو 70 جريحاً.وقال شهود عيان إن انتحارياً كان يرتدي حزاماً ناسفاً، قام بتفجير نفسه في الركعة الثانية من صلاة الجمعة داخل مسجد الإمام الصادق.
فيما أعلن مجلسا الوزراء الأمة الكويتيين، أنهما سينعقدان في جلسة طارئة اليوم لبحث تداعيات الحادث.
